Don't Tread on She
Half-Hour Comedy Pilot [ Historical ]
I win family Thanksgivings by memorizing embarrassing facts about the Founding Fathers to use against my conservative relatives. A side note: this was not a very good trick at my first high school party.
Logline: It's 1776. The thirteen colonies are on the brink of warfare. And is that... a camera? Following... Samantha Adams? The Founding Mothers' mocumentary gives us an insight to our country's amalgamation, though perhaps not as we remember it from our U.S. History classes. We, as an audience, will follow a community uniting in order to and in spite of creating something very flawed. For all women are created equal, and yet it took 27 amendments to get it right.
The Clusterfuck Case
Feature [ Comedy & Action/Adventure ]
I never knew that a therapist could fire their patient, until mine deemed me "too far beyond her expertise."
Logline: A therapist must go on the run with his least-favorite patient, whose absent father figure is far more dangerous than a symptom of psychosis. Now, if he can escape with his life, Alan must come to understand that: Darren doesn't need those anti-hallucinogens after all, and Alan's now going to need his own source of professional help.
Monkey's Plight
Half-Hour Comedy Pilot [ Workplace & Large Ensemble ]
As a former ride operator at one of the most successful theme parks in the world, my main takeaway is that guests will really pay hundreds of dollars just to yell at someone in a costume all day.
Logline: A group of young Floridiots must navigate the back-of-house underbelly of operating a headlining attraction at an Orlando theme park. When they receive a new manager, fresh from New England, the employees struggle to adjust without turning their new boss into the victim of a classic Florida Man headline.
